This policy describes the jont.ai website. Jont’s consumer product is not yet publicly available. When it is released, this policy will be replaced with one that describes the product’s data practices in full.
1. Who we are
The jont.ai website is operated by Jont Labs LLC, a limited liability company formed in the State of Wyoming, United States (“Jont”, “we”, “us”).
Questions about this policy, or requests relating to your personal information, can be sent to privacy@jont.ai.
2. What this website collects
This website is a set of static informational pages. It does not have user accounts, contact forms, mailing-list signup, a waitlist, payment processing, advertising pixels, behavioral tracking, session recording, a chat widget, or embedded third-party content.
We do not use analytics on this website, and it loads no scripts, fonts or other resources from third parties.
Information you send us voluntarily
If you email us, we receive your email address, whatever you put in the message, and any attachments you send. We use that information to read and answer your inquiry, and to keep a record of the correspondence.
Server and security logs
The website is served by a third-party hosting provider. Like any web host, it processes technical request data (IP address, the page requested, timestamp, browser user agent and referring page) in order to deliver the site, protect it against abuse and attack, and diagnose faults. This processing is carried out by the hosting provider as part of serving the site. We do not use it to identify or profile visitors. We can tell you who our current hosting provider is on request.
Cookies
This website does not set cookies.
3. How we use information
We use the information described above only to:
- respond to inquiries you send us;
- operate, secure and maintain the website;
- comply with legal obligations.
We do not sell personal information. We do not share it with advertisers. We do not use it for advertising or profiling. We do not buy personal information about you from data brokers.
4. Who we share information with
We share personal information only with service providers acting on our behalf, and only to the extent needed for them to perform their function. For this website that means our hosting provider and our email provider.
We may also disclose information where we are required to by law, where necessary to establish or defend legal claims, or to protect the rights and safety of any person. If Jont Labs LLC is acquired or merged, information may transfer as part of that transaction.
5. Where information is held
Jont Labs LLC is based in the United States and information is processed there. If you contact us from outside the United States, your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States.
6. How long we keep it
Email correspondence is retained for as long as needed to handle the matter it concerns and to keep a reasonable business record, and is then deleted. Hosting and security logs are retained by our hosting provider for a short period in the ordinary course of operating and protecting the site.
7. Your rights
You may ask us to provide a copy of the personal information we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it. Write to privacy@jont.ai and tell us what you are asking for. We will respond within the period required by applicable law.
If you are in the United Kingdom, the European Economic Area or Switzerland, you also have the right to object to or restrict our processing, the right to data portability, and the right to lodge a complaint with your national data protection authority. Where we process your information it is on the basis of our legitimate interest in operating and securing the website and in answering inquiries sent to us, or to comply with a legal obligation.
If you are in California, you have the right to know what personal information we collect and how we use it, the right to have it deleted, the right to have it corrected, and the right not to be treated differently for exercising those rights. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined by California law, and we have not done so in the preceding twelve months.
8. Children
This website is not directed to children and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children through it.
9. Security
The website is served over HTTPS. We take reasonable measures to protect information sent to us, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. If we do, we will change the date at the top of this page. This policy will be replaced with a fuller policy before Jont’s consumer product becomes publicly available.
